Kia Motors Europe (KME) may be the European sales and marketing division of Kia Motors Corporation (KMC). It has been selling cars in Europe since the first half of 1991. KMA is based in Irvine, California. In 2007, KME moved from its previous location at Hauptstrasse 185, Eschborn (near Frankfurt), to a new purpose-built facility adjacent to the Messe, in Frankfurt city center. From 1995 to 1999, Kia produced left- and right-hand drive versions of the first generation Sportage SUV at the Karmann factory in Osnabrück, Germany.  Kia Motors America (KMA) is the American sales, marketing, and distribution arm of Kia Motors Corporation based in Seoul, South Korea. KMA offers a complete distinct vehicles through more than 755 dealers throughout the United States.

The organization opened its first integrated automotive assembly plant in 1973, the Sohari Plant. Kia was founded as Kyungsung Precision Industry, a manufacturer of steel tubing and bicycle parts, eventually producing Korea's first domestic bicycle, the Samchully, in 1951. Kia built the small Brisa array of cars until 1981 when production came to a finish after the new military dictator Chun Doo-hwan enforced industry consolidation. In 1952, Kyungsung Precision Industry changed its name to Kia Industries, and later built Honda-licensed small motorcycles (starting in 1957), 2023 Kia Rondo Mazda-licensed trucks (1962) and cars (1974).

Optional is really a 2.7-liter V6 that creates 192 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque regardless of where you purchase it. The EPA estimated fuel economy for this engine is 20 mpg urban/27 mpg on the highway and 22 mpg combined. The  Kia Rondo power arises from a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. A five-speed automatic is standard. The EPA estimated fuel economy is 18/26/21 mpg. It produces 175 hp and 167 pound-feet of torque in all the country, but in the emissions states of California, the SULEV-rated four-cylinder engine produces 167 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. It is just a four-speed automatic, transmission only.

Anti-lock disc brakes, front-seat side airbags, full-size side curtain airbags, and stability control are standard on the Kia Rondo. The Kia Rondo received five stars for front and side driver protection and four stars for side rear protection in official crash tests.

The Rondo EX includes that equipment but substitutes 17-inch alloy wheels and adds foglamps, leather upholstery, and a leather-wrapped wheel and shift knob. The EX Premium package adds a sunroof, a navigation system, a touchscreen interface, and an enhanced eight-speaker stereo with a six-CD changer. An iPod adapter is optional on all Rondos.  The LX Plus package adds 16-inch alloy wheels, floor 2023 Kia Rondo mats, and heated front seats.

The instruments may also be large and simple to read. The Kia Rondoo's easy-to-use climate controls include three simple buttons, with at the least clearly marked buttons on the stereo dash. For an automobile in Rondo's price range, the quality is impressive and the quality is excellent. The current third-row seat is designed for children and requires the 2nd row to be shifted forward, limiting legroom for three to five passengers. The cargo area is cavernous when both rear rows are lowered, but understandably pathetic when both are raised. Still, this third row is pretty an easy task to access. Sitting in the Rondo, you immediately spot the enormous headroom and impressive visibility supplied by the high roof. More driver seat adjustments could be fine for taller drivers, but many will discover leading two rows roomy with comfortable underarms.

Kia can be who owns the former ex-Asia Motors factory at Gwangju. Kia is designing a Kaiser Jeep M715-type vehicle named the KM450 for the South Korean Army on license from the U.S. Kia Motors has specialized in the production of military vehicles with variants and other transportation equipment and by supplying them as a sole maker of military vehicles designated by the South Korean Government since 1976 when Kia Heavy Industry Co.

Materials quality is impressive for a vehicle in the Rondo's cost range, and construction is excellent. The available third-row seat is intended for kids and requires the 2nd row to be slid forward, which limits legroom for passengers three through five. The Kia Rondo's easy-to-use climate controls consist of three simple knobs, while the stereo faceplate maintains at the least clearly marked buttons. Accessing that third row is fairly easy, though. The instruments may also be big and easy to read. The more driver-seat adjustment could be nice for taller drivers, but most will see leading two rows spacious, with comfy seat bottoms. When sitting in the Rondo, you immediately spot the huge quantity of headroom and impressive visibility afforded by the tall roof. Cargo space is cavernous with both rear rows lowered, but understandably pathetic when both are raised.
